4/19/2005 - I'M CARMEN FREAKIN' SANDIEGO!
So, Monday night we set sail for my interview at University of Central Lancashire in Preston. Me an' my Dad. We stayed at a hotel on monday night and got up, had a breakfast of two toasts and a yogurt and we drove to the university. When we were walking from the car park to victoria buildingwith a heavy-ass portfolio my dad managed to tear a muscle in his leg. :( So we got like an hour and a half early but the guy said the person before me hasn't turned up so I got an interview early and he looked at my work and asked me some stuff (It was actually quite informal) and at the end he was like OKAY, SO ILL GIVE YOU AN UNCONDITIONAL OFFER. ZOMG. ZOMGZOMG. So thats where the fuun began. We began the journey home and we were just heading for the M6 when the car was overheating and so we had to pull ovar. My dad opened up the bonnet and figured he'd sorta try to vent the little thing full of water (Guesswhat I don't know shit about cars) and it seemed to be going well until it EXPLODED and showered scalding hot water and oil and anti-freeze and whatever else all over the car (literally- even the back window was completely coated) and all over my Dad. He got second degree burns on his hand. :(! After a very long and arduous session of trying to clean everything up and get the car going again it ran for about a quarter of a mile before the whole thing just went and died So I had to go push the car off the motorway turnoff and we called the RAC. Hours teh later we got inspected and then more hours teh later we got towed home by a nice guy and we also stopped at the A+E because dads burn was a teh not a good burn. So we finally got home about 11pm and I finally had something to eat since breakfast and also I havent slept any of the way yet and some other stuff happened but BLOODY HELL WAS THIS A LOOOONG DAY.
