  1/18/2005 - Chicken and shremp.

Today really puts the mourn in morning. So I kept getting woken up by hail last night. See, back when my bedroom was on the middle floor, it wasn't a problem. But now I live just under the roof and its BLOODY DEAFENING. But for some reason, this morning I though "feh, i'll just wear jeans and a t-shirt. (and a coat), and not my nice warm fuzzy socks because it PROBABLY won't be all that cold today."
Actually frankly, I don't know what the hell I was thinking. What the hell was I thinking? Naturally its ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY freezing outside and its all frosty on the car and stuff. So I get to el colleg, and I figured i'd have a good day of research cause I brought this big national geographic CD collection full of stuff from the 1960s-70s and it was bound to have loads of cool graphic design and all that junk I needed. And I know we're not allowed to install software on these macs (these disks need a special reader thing and junk) but yesterday I asked my tutor and he said he'd ask the computer tech to install them because they are cool and educational. But today he was all "sorry, no can do. You'll have to go to the library" AND PAGE THROUGH A BAJILLION CRAPPY BOOKS IN THE UNLIKELY CHANCE OF FINDING TYPOGRAPHY FROM 1969 BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY. Sorry, but i'm not THAT optimistic. Also I don't like the library. << Its a crappy library. I asked if I could go home and do research, but he said I can't because we have a lecture in the afternoon.
So anyway, I sat around doing relatively little. I was too angry (and numb with cold) to draw anything decent, too. And finally, breaktime came. (Its at 11:10 for some ungodly reason) And I was like HOORAY, FOOD. THAT'LL CHEER ME UP. UGOFF IS HUNGRY.
Turns out I forgot to pack a lunch this morning.
OBURN.
