12/29/2004 - FUCK. ME.
So here I am up since 5am. (long story, I kinda slept through yesterday after pulling an allnighter watching a lord of the rings: extended version MARATHON, which by the way was totally my brothers idea. And he still maintains i'm the geek? Heheh.) I took a pause break from Majora's Mask to have breakfast at about 10pm, and then... Something... unexpected came in the mail today. Something I was not told about. MY MUM BOUGHT ME A FUCKING DS FOR CHRISTMAS. She said I have to still put some of my own money towards it and stuff BUT I DONT CARE. HOLY CRAP! I didn't think I was going to get anything else for christmas. Wow. I mean, I just didn't think we could afford it. I am a HAPPY. BUNNY. So, analysis: It does not appear to have any dead pixels. I know what those look like and I can't find any. It just so happens we have one american socket in the house somehow, so I can actually charge the thing. Its in the bathroom though. XD I heard people saying that metroid: hunters (which I got a demo of with the system) has really difficult and generally wierd controls. Wierd, yes. But I got used to them straight away. Maybe its cause I am used to having a tablet pen in one hand sometimes when i'm on the computer... or maybe its cause I have small hands. Maybe the DS is ideally a girl's console. Can't argue with that. ;D Little things about it made me really smile. Like they way it asks for your favourite colour and then makes that the colour of the background.
