9/06/2004 - I just swallowed my gum.
Seriously. Gimmie a minute. ...Okay, I think it hit the stomach. I'm good. People have been asking me a lot, "Don't you hate going to school?" and I always answer "No, I really don't." It's not as if I look forward to school, I really don't. It's not something I would do in my spare time. But I don't absolutley dread going, at least not in the way I did last year or in junior high. Mainly because now, things don't suck as much. It's odd to describe it like this, but the main thing between this year and last year is that this year, no one cares about anything. Even the teachers are the most apathetic beigns you could ever hope to meet. If you get an A+, then rock on, more power to you. If you get an F, so be it, it happens. Even in helping a student, they see it as neither a chore nor a joy, but something that is routine, and nearly instict. It's nice seeing everyone again, though. Clemons and Jay and I started a movie-swapping club. I gave Jay "Clerks", he gave Clemons "Pulp Fiction", and Clemons gave me "The Last Castle", which I need to watch before Friday. Someone remind me to do that. And that's school. There's really nothing to it. I really wouldn't harbor any negative feelings at all towards it if I didn't have to wake up so goddamn early. In other news: Is it wrong that I went looking to "LEGITIMATLEY OBTAIN" Beatles songs, and came out only with "Blue (Da Ba Dee Ba)", by Eiffel 65? //Greg::2:37 AM EST\ # | |
