  8/05/2004 - Realist, not pessimist

Hi, folks. Good to be back in the swing of things.

My name has been geting thrown around a bit lately. I'd like to clear a few things up.

First, I do not "hate" Fable. But I don't think any game could possibly live up to that sort of hype, 'cept maybe GTA San Andreas. It looks to be...pretty big.

My major qualms with Fable:I can tell right now, you're going to get stuck in quite a few places. A game with that much freedom is bound to have a whole lot of glitches, unless it's been in production since before the Xbox. Like Malice was.

Yeah, Malice went well.

Anyway. The other day, I considered getting a Gamecube, and I am no longer considering it. At all. Under any circumstances, whatsoever. I don't care if every Xbox and PS2 in the world is blown up, and they halt production. I'll go play Unreal or something.

Picked up both of the Megatokyo graphic novels the other day. I plowed through the first one within a matter of hours, and am reading the second one right now. And while I was out, I bought Aqua Teen Hunger Force Vol. 2 on DVD, and a Silent Bob Inaction figure.

Now, question: Should I get Doom 3? I have checked the minimum requirements, and I can, indeed, run it. So long as every other program is closed.

I really, really, really should wait for Half-Life 2, I know. But who knows when that'll come out, you know?

Anyway.

I'mona go sleep.
