10/21/2003 - Woo! I'm wooing! [TV - Saturday Night Live rerun]

I just had the kind of sandwich that, when you eat one, you feel like god is smiling at you.

Note the time that this post is being made. Seem odd? No, I'm not making it at school. We had a huge test (one of those ACTs, or SATs, or PLANs, or whatever) and got out at...

wait for it...

11:10 A-FUCKING-M!

That's not what I wanted to tell you, though.

A while ago, maybe Christmas of 2000-01, I got my PS2. Great, good, done. That's also not what I wanted to tell you about. On that day, I also got a game called "SSX". It was a snowboarding game. I believe there is an emoticon that goes with this game.

" :) "

Pure fecking awesome. You SHOOT off the gate, then hit a CRAZY-ASS jump, straight into the air! All sorts of tricks are at your disposal, along with a kick-ass, perfectly selected soundtrack following you at all times.

Then SSX "Tricky" came out.

Blew me away. This is the game that made me realize that that I scream louder playing this game than I would if an axe murderer was chasing me. Even more air! Even more tricks! Even more...everything! All over-the-top, in your fiz-ace, blasting pwnage. Another phenomenal soundtrack, matching, IF NOT SURPASSING, the original! New characters! Ubertricks, which STILL amaze the HELL out of me, to this day. I STILL haven't completely beat it (Though, this may be due to the fact that I lost it last year).

Now, we're getting SSX 3.

HOO-FUCKING-RAY!!!11one!! I swear, this review here and the official website here make it sound AMAZING. From watching the videos, I still get that feeling of adrenaline, PULSING through my veins, as if a magician has transmogrify my bodily liquids into physical excitement.

I can't wait, folks.

Can't we do better than that?

The present was an egg laid by the past that had the future inside its shell.
